ASM Ocean Traders is pleased to provide a reliable automation services for ship navigational and communication systems. We offer many navigational and communication instruments mostly from the Chittagong ship-breaking yard, which are checked by our accredited and service-experienced service engineers. Conditioned equipment is carefully considered, tested, presumed of excellent quality and can be readied – available for use. We supply equipment, spare parts and services inclusive of repairs with a service warranty.
We supply and service the newest maritime communication and the navigation systems, covering all the following equipment:
- VHF Radio – Portable, GMDSS/DSC, Air-Band, Base Station, IS, and ATEX-approved models
- AIS – Automatic Identification System for vessel tracking and collision avoidance
- GPS – Global Positioning System for accurate geolocation and navigation
- MF/HF Radio – Medium and High Frequency radios with DSC, SSB, and NBDP facilities
- Radar – (X-Band, S-Band, and Non-IMO) compliant radar systems for situation awareness
- ECDIS – Electronic Chart Display and Information System for electronic navigation
- EPIRB – Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon for emergency signaling
- SART– Search and Rescue Transponder for emergency position tracking
- NAVTEX – Receiver for maritime safety information broadcasts
- VDR/SVDR – Voyage Data Recorder and Simplified VDR for voyage tracking
- UPS – Uninterruptible Power Supply units for supplying backup power to critical systems
- BNWAS – Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System for officer alertness
- Autopilot – Automated steering systems for navigation control
- GYRO Compass – With repeaters and magnetic compass for heading reference
- Echo Sounder – Depth measuring and seabed profiling devices
- GMDSS – Global Maritime Distress and Safety System equipment
- Inmarsat-C – Satellite communication terminal for global message and alerting
- SSAS – Ship Security Alert System and vessel tracking systems
- Speed/Doppler Log – Ship speed and distance measuring equipment
